Our Process
Meet with an experienced Rize Mortgage Loan Advisor to discuss your goals and find the right mortgage to suit your needs.
To get preapproved for a mortgage you’ll need to verify income, employment, assets and debts. Gathering documents ahead of time will help you through that process.
Getting preapproved for a mortgage is not required, but it is a great idea. Most realtors prefer a pre-approval letter as it shows the seller that you’re qualified for a loan.
Now that you’ve been preapproved, it is time for the fun part – house hunting! Once you have found the right home for you, it is time to make an offer.
Rize Mortgage makes the application process simple, convenient and hassle free. You can apply over the phone, online, or in person. Your Mortgage Loan Advisor will let you know what additional documentation is needed to submit your file to processing.
Once your loan application has been submitted, the mortgage processing stage begins. The Loan Processor will order an appraisal on the home and prepare your file for underwriting.
The file the Processor prepares will be reviewed by a Certified Underwriter to ensure that all of the loan requirements are met.
The Underwriter will verify all of the underwriting conditions have been satisfied and will issue a final approval. You are cleared to Close!
Your Title insurance is ordered and your closing date and time is scheduled. Once the closing is scheduled you’ll order homeowner’s insurance. The Closing Team will prepare all of your loan documents.
You’ve made it the big day: CLOSING! You will attend your closing appointment, sign a bunch of documents, and after funding is complete – YOUR KEYS!
